Low Poly HECU grunt from Half-Life

I haven't modelled a 3D character from scratch for about 5 years, so what better way to get back into practice by attempting to recreate an NPC from one of my favourite games of all time: Half-Life. Had a blast with this one.

Base model without fine editing took around 3 hours, project finished in 6 days. Model and textures hand crafted by me, except for the camo pattern which was a posterized grain layer. There's some issues with UV mapping, as well as clipping during the animation which I'm not too pleased about (and can't be bothered to fix), but mistakes are what make us better, and I'll use that knowledge I've gained for future work.
